Along Came A Spider.....

So I posted a video on Tuesday about finding a spider in my bedroom, if you haven't seen the video, I'll tell you exactly what happened now.
I was getting ready for college and I decided Iwanted to wear my black fluffy "ugg" boots so I went to my wardrobe to ge them, took one out and put it on. I took the other one out and was about to put it on when I saw something thread like hanging off it, I was just about to pull it off when it started was a huge spider! When I say huge I mean about the size of the palm of my hand! Horrible! So I froze and then it started running, in the direction of under my bed! So I srtood on it and killed it then I froze again, then I just started screaming at the top of my lungs, really really loud, prbably worse than I've ever screamed before!
Then after I had stopped screaming I started crying, really hard, and I was shaking too!
I was in such shock!
I thought I'd have a cup of coffee to get the faint feeling I went to make it but my hands were shaking so bad the sugar went all over the place and I dropped the spoon numerous times!
So I couldn't function normally for the rest of the day.
Last night I was in bed on Youtube like normal and for some reason I looked up in the corner of my room up over my bed....another spider....i jumped out of the bed so fast! And froze! I then ran to my parents room begging one of them to kill it, my dad eventually came in, I couldn't bear to stay in the room while he killed it cos I knew he would drop it, which I'm nearly sure he did!
I didn't really believe that he killed it but he promised, so I'm trusting him and I really hope he did!
So then I was back in bed, so nervous, I had my cat, Daisy, with me so I was a bit less worried even though if there was a spider near it she probably wouldn't kill it, she'd just play with it!
So I sat up in bed for the next three hours researching arachnophobia, causes and cures, not much help to me as some of the sites had pictures of huge nasty spiders on them :(
So now I'm living in fear, everytime I step in my room, I'd say myself and my mom are going to clean the whole room tonight when I finish work, hoover the whole place, because if I see another one, I will possibly have a heart attack!! I'm so nervous, What is attracting these spiders to my house?? It's not dirty but it's not freakishly clean either it's normal! What is the problem, I want to move out at this stage....

Valentines Day Bloggin'

So Happy Valentines Day! My day was...well it was ok. I was way too tired to get up today so I didn't go to college, I'll go tomorrow..finally! So today I basically did nothing, cleaned my room a bit and cleaned the kitchen after dinner for my mom :)
So then my boyfriend came up with a card, a teddy bear, a bunch of roses and a box of chocolates for me! I was so happy because this was actually my first Valentines present in my life, Ive never even got a card! So of course I was really happy and really really appreciate everything he got for me, he is the best! He had school and after school study and work though so he didn't make it up to my house until about 10pm and then left around 12!
So what did I do for him? Well I have NO money right now and I mean NONE, so I had to get creative! So I made him a card, I wrote a letter for him, I made a little book with 7 pages saying nice things and then on the last page I asked him to be my Valentine and he said yes of course...haha. I also made him a CD with all the songs that remind me of him and I baked him fairy cakes, he loved them!
I made all different kinds. Some had plain icing, some had mint chocolate icing and some had nutella and they all had sprinkles on them, his favourite was of course the mint chocolate! I had fun making them, it was a last minute idea but now Im so happy I thought of it!
So enough about my lovey dovey Valentines day...I will seem very kind of like...hypocritical now I think but honestly...I think Valentines day is so over-rated! Its not a very nice day for people who are single, as in like the people who have just come out of a relationship or people who's loved ones have passed away.
To be honest, when I was single I didn't care about Valentines day, seeing happy couples and all the flowers and teddy bears in the shop windows didn't bother me, because I always knew that someday I would be getting one of those teddy bears and today I did!
So to all you single ladies (this post is aimed at the ladies!) , you don't need a man! You're an independant woman, noone to answer to, you're free to do what you want, noone to hold you down and in some ways I am jealous!
And I know you might be thinking 'oh that's easy for you to say, you have a boyfriend, you got your presents', but this is my first time in 19 years getting presents on Valentines day, believe me I know what it's like!
So whether you're single or madly in love, I hope you had a great day today!

Study, Study...STUDY!

I've decided to put together a few of my study tips and tricks that I find work for me, as I've been asked about it before on Youtube and I think some of these tips may help some of my lovely subscribers!

I am not really one to talk about studying, I hate it and I rarely do it, even though I should! But these are some tips that I found very helpful when doing state examinations last summer. I hope they help you as much as they helped me!

1. Pick the topic you need to study most. The one that you find the hardest. You are likely to pick one that you find fairly easy, because it's EASY and requires less effort, but you will be able to do that part in the exam. For good results you need to make sure you study the areas that you are having the MOST difficulty with, if it is too difficult, get help from a parent, teacher or the internet.

2. Read things out loud and write them out instead of just reading them silently.
The best method that worked for me:
- Read out loud 5 times while looking at the book.
- Try to say it out loud 5 times without looking at the book.
- Then write it out once, without the book.
- Check the book that you have written it out correctly.
- Write it out 3 more times, without the book.
- Say it out loud 3 more times.
- Make sure to revise it once a week/month.
You can modify this method to suit yourself but basically sayng things out loud and writing things down help them to stick in your mind better :)

3. Reward yourself. This one may sound a bit silly, but it worked for me and some of my friends. Ok for example you are stuck on a math formula. Tell yourself that once you have learned the formula and know it inside out, you can have something you have been wanting, eg a chocolate bar or a cup of coffee.

4. Keep all your books, notes, pens and other supplies together so that you will be able to find them easily while studying.

5. Enviornment. Try to work in an area that is as quiet as possible and doesn't have any distractions, T.V off and not facing a window. Keep a window open though for air circulation and keep a bottle of water at the desk!

6. The best one :) Don't overwork yourself. If you really feel like you can't do anymore, then don't and remember to take 5-10 minute breaks every 45 minutes!

That's about it! I know we all hate studying, and it feels like we're being nagged all the time to do it, but it does pay off. Just try your best, that's all that matters. If you tried your hardest and you fail, at least you know that you tried!

Hope these helped
